So, I am fully aware that these nasty places exist, but I never thought that my boyfriend would be drawn to a place like that. Inspired by another user's post, "What is the worst part about being single?", I have decided to write another post. We all know that they are certain aspects of singleness that suck. For me, it's my smug married friends who like at me with pity when I don't have a date. Give me a break, people. I'm still the same me without a man on my arm. At the risk of sounding like Charlie Brown, good grief.
Sure, it's nice having to someone to wake up with or someone to share your day with, etc. And marriage and coupledom are beautiful things! BUT, we singletons (to quote the ever-so-painful Bridget Jones) need to start loving ourselves for who we are if we are ever to survive. Plus, what better way to enter a new relationship than with some good old fashioned confidence and independence.Trust me, guys eat that up.
