U.S. stock index futures dipped as a week packed with data and central bank meetings gets under way, with the S&P 500 just 0.2 percent below its record close set a week ago.
After spending three years in custody, Pfc. Bradley Manning, the man accused of the largest leak of classified information in U.S. history will learn whether he has been found guilty of aiding the enemy. If found guilty on the aiding the enemy charge, Manning could be sentenced to life in prison. He has pleaded guilty to nearly a dozen lesser charges that carry a sentence of up to 20 years behind bars.
