Welcome to the wonderful world of Jason Wu. The women: strong, cool. The makeup: bold, daring. The hair: impossibly gorgeous - with structure and elegance. We're used to seeing bare faces and natural hair on the runways, and we applaud the look. But when a model walks down with piercing eyes (a purple cat-eye to boot!) we tend to get a bit giddy.
One thing Jason doesn't lack? Vision. He worked with Lancôme's Diane Kendal on that perfect indigo shade - a mix of liners and a shadow (rumored to be from his upcoming collaboration with Lancôme) - for the exaggerated winged look, which matched the shade of his final ensemble. Odile Gilbert (Kérastase) created an elegant, tucked-and-folded bun for a tidy, woven look, which is best described as a bob-meets-chignon.
