Even as it spends most of its time working on BlackBerry10 devices--and evaluating whether to sell itself-- BlackBerry is still developing products based on its older operating system. The company has introduced the BlackBerry 9720, an entry-level smartphone based on an update to the BlackBerry 7 operating system. The 9720 also features typical BlackBerry features, such as a small touchscreen and a physical keyboard.
It's official: Making fun of 'iSheep' has been both fun and profitable for Samsung. In an interview with AdNews, Samsung Australia's CMO Arno Lenior said that the 2011 Samsung ad that ridiculed Apple fans for unquestionably loving everything about the iPhone helped propel the company's brand to a whole new level. "That really did mark quite a tipping point for us globally," he explained.
