Designers Bob and Cortney Novogratz, hosts of HGTV's,"Home by Novogratz" suggest some simple "fixes" that will instantly bump up a home's value. The Novogratz's recommend sellers reassess square footage, give walls and exterior a fresh coat of paint, update lighting fixtures, pull up wall-to-wall carpet, and make eco-friendly upgrades like water-saving plumbing fixtures.
