I was eavesdropping on a conversation between two guy friends and heard one of them proclaiming (in slightly more vulgar terms) how "crazy" women seemed to make the best lovers. Pretending not to soak up this fascinating tidbit, I gave the scenario some thought. Were these guys onto something? Did women with a wild/goofy/dramatic streak fare better in love? Some theories point to "yes."
Does "crazy" equal confidence?
For some reason, guys evidently enjoy when women engage in topless activities, or any sort of flashing incident for that matter. While some men choose these unbridled women as mates for purely shallow reasons, others are attracted for reasons beyond their control. Confidence is universally deemed a human being's sexiest characteristic. Suffice it to say, women who throw caution to the wind are confident enough not to care about others' opinions - a wildly attractive quality.
Melodrama = Passion?
By common (guy) theory, extremely melodramatic women have the strong tendency to try and create the kind of soap opera scenarios that end in perfectly lit, torrid lovemaking. The kind of endorphin rush couples get when having heated make-up sessions is pretty hard to top. Indeed, that break-up and make-up thing is serious, for both partners.
Who's dating these "crazy" women?
The kinds of women who are responsible for evil deeds of romantic revenge are often the ones provoking faithful men into all sorts of immoral trysts. There's a reason why the "crazy" ex's name creeps into conversation on more than a few occasions. The men that seek out these "passionate" women run the gamut. Some are men who need a little extra excitement in their lives to keep things fresh. These guys may be juggling a few casual romances for this very purpose.
Calling All Bad Girls…
Let the record show that while the term "crazy" may conjure a few unsavory images, for all intents and purposes, my buddies raised some interesting thoughts with their anecdotes. A little drama is exciting - under the right circumstances. Spontaneity isn't such a bad thing-within limits. There exists the theory (perhaps for good reason) that fiery women and their dulled inhibitions are usually up for anything, anytime. Apparently, men like this. Unfortunately, this impulsive behavior causes hordes of problems in all other areas of her existence. Re-enter, Melodrama.
