If you have a phone and two thumbs, you can help! Donate $10 to flood relief efforts by texting "MS" to 27722. Donations are sent to the Mississippi Disaster Recovery Fund, and will be automatically charged to your cell phone bill. To help in Joplin, text "Joplin" to 864833. These donations will be distributed to the Heart of Missouri United Way. Or if you’d rather donate the traditional way, visit the Red Cross website. Donations like these go a long way toward helping disaster victims get back on their feet. They help provide shelter, food, and emotional support to people affected by the tornado and floods. less
