Now don't get my wrong. I am totally amused by Bethenny Frankel and I have no reason to dislike her. She's added a lot as a cast member on the Real Housewives of New York City and is surprisingly refreshing, fun and likable in Bethenny Getting Married? But the girl, she should get some boundaries. Yes, she is known for 'saying it like it is' and wearing some low low cut dresses, but there are certain things that should just be kept private. Here are five things we didn't need to witness Bethenny doing:
Peeing in a bucket
I never thought the day would come when I'd see a grown woman -in a wedding dress no less - peeing in a silver champagne bucket on TV. But Bethenny, she went there.
Waxing her belly
Usually done in the eucalyptus scented rooms of day spas across the land, Bethenny opted to banish her belly of the dark trail of hair that grew (there due to her pregnancy) herself and on camera. And she enlisted the help of her brand new husband. Now when you think romantic honeymoon do you think hotel room hair removal? Yeah, neither do I.
Peeing on a stick
During the filming of the Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny wasn't shy of putting some very honest and life changing events on film. The camera rolled as she went into the bathroom, dropped her pants and peed on a stick. Yes, her private pregnancy test moment was captured for prosperity and for the world to see.
Skinny Dipping in the pool
There isn't anything more freeing than just getting buck naked and jumping in a pool. But one of the charms of skinny dipping is that it's a private thing. Jason was stoked when they saw their own pool at the honeymoon villa commenting that they were all alone and could go skinny dipping. But if they went to the hotel's public pool, probably just a handful of people would see them naked, but by having it filmed and aired on Bravo…well then millions get to see them! But then in real life there isn't modesty blurring.
Pregnancy photo shoot
Having a photographic keepsake of a woman's pregnancy is a lovely and beautiful thing. But these boudoir pin-up like pics are something personal, something to share with your partner and perhaps a few close friends. It seemed very voyeuristic watching Bethenny pert near buck naked rolling around on her bed attempting to cover up her ample bosom as much as she could. And if you didn't get enough of the photos, Bravo posted select shots from the session on the front page of their site. And does the world need to know that hubby Jason has a "weird pregnancy fetish"?
But the big question is what will Bryn thing? When Bryn grows up, you know she'll at some point see the episodes. On one hand, it's a great snapshot of her in her mommy's belly, but as a tween and teen you know that Bryn will be more than embarrassed by her mom's on screen hi-jinx.
