    • When it comes to work, everyone needs advice. Whether you're not sure how to tackle an assignment or want to talk through an interesting job offer that came out of left field, there's nothing better than having a few mentors to help you out along the way. But, unless your company offers a formal mentorship program, it's not always easy to find people like that. Who should you to turn to? And, more importantly, how do you approach them and build relationships with them over time? The process is a little different for everyone-some mentoring relationships happen naturally, while others require extra effort. That is, ideal candidates have moved around, taken risks and yes, even failed. Moving around includes changing jobs, changing careers, going from corporate to consulting, small business to big companies (and the reverse), moving from one country to another and taking up new hobbies, causes and interests.

      Why would such a peripatetic course be so compelling? The answer might come from successful start-ups. About 70% of superior small companies wind up succeeding in businesses that were not in their ori

      Twitter can get you noticed--or totally mess you up if you use it wrong. We deconstruct some winning messages (and a few epic fails). Now the power is in your hands.

      The share

      @LawyerLisa0!0 Went for a 5-mile run today--a record!
      #Win Make one in four Tweets about you, not about work.

And if you've just created an account, post 10 Tweets before following anyone. You'll gain tweeps of your own faster.

      Summertime is one of those times of the year that we can really go overboard with over spending. There's something about all that nice weather that makes us reach into our pockets and spend.

      We have vacations, graduations, weddings, just to name a few of the reasons. But you don't have to go broke this summer trying to manage all these events and your well deserved down time. Follow these tips to better manage your cash this summer so you won't be broke by fall.
