ARTIST OFF THE STREET HEADING TOWARDS HEAVEN

I am a South African girl, born 1975 and raised away from home. Most of my child hood life was spent growing up in private boarding schools. Then later on I ran away from home and at 18 I turned to working on the streets as a club dancer and sometimes doing other things. My life was full of parties and of course I had a run of friends who were into drugs and drinking. However always wanting to be an artist as a little girl I never dreamed of ending up where I did. One day God came knocking on my door which I tried to ignore, but he used two persistent old ladies who kept coming back to speak to me about my life and the plans God had for me.

It took me a long time to heal and accept my life and the road I had been down. Part of my healing took place in a shelter where my son and I lived for a while. There God pulled me from the streets and gave me an opportunity to restore my life and pursue the road I had always dreamed of when I was young. However my journey was not easy and a few bad encounters took place in my life. I moved from place to place going into bad or abusive relationships, ended up having another child from a one night stand. But Gods promises stood firm in my heart and I carried on moving forward doing my best not to fall into more bad situations.

In 2008 I landed a job at a game reserve where I had the time to spend with my children and pursue my career as an artist and designer. When I look back on my life and all that has happened I thank God every day for what he has done for me. If you met me and see where I am at present you would never believe the stories I have to tell of my life on the streets. God Opened the doors to take me from the streets and now everyday my life is one step headed towards Heaven

It's 2011 and ten long learning years since my life changed, I now have a great, understanding Husband with three wonderful children. I have been inspired to use my gifts to help others who have had a similar journey. God has lifted my soul, inspired my thoughts and developed my gifts. My life of returning to the streets is far behind me. Thank you God for helping me turn my life around, I could'nt have asked for more.
