Lifeguards & swimmers ignored drowned woman's body for days

As you consider ways to cool off this July 4th weekend, here's a story that may make you rethink a trip to your local public swimming pool. Earlier this week in Fall River, Massachusetts, the body of Marie Joseph, 36, was found in the town's pool. Sad and disturbing enough, but police believe the mother of three was actually floating there for two days before anyone noticed.

More from The Stir: What a Drowning Child Looks Like

For TWO DAYS swimmers swam, dove, and had a grand old time in the sun, and no one noticed her body. It's unfathomable that something like that could happen, and what the hell were the lifeguards doing?

According to a story from Turnto10.com, Joseph went to Veteran's Memorial Pool on Sunday around 2 p.m. with some friends, including a 9-year-old boy she was watching go down a slide. Police believe she drowned after going down the slide herself. Police chief Daniel Racine told the station:

The boy stated that once he was in the water after coming down the slide, Marie unexpectedly slid down the slide landing on top of him. He further stated that she went under the water and did not surface.

Upon seeing this, the boy reportedly did exactly what he should have done -- he told a lifeguard. According to him, the lifeguard ignored him, which isn't hard to believe considering the lifeguards at this pool didn't notice the body for two days.

More from The Stir: 5 Shocking Ways Kids Drown

Why the boy didn't tell anyone else, and why the woman's friends left without her aren't clear, but no one found her until about 10 p.m. Tuesday. That means all day Monday and all day Tuesday (when the pool was reportedly busy and bustling), she was there and no one noticed. How can that happen? I mean it's not like the murky ocean; pools are pretty clear and transparent ... or should be. Just yesterday my husband spotted and rescued a little baby possum from our backyard pool. That guy was tiny; a woman is much bigger!

Police are investigating, and the pool has been shut down until they try to figure out what went wrong. But wow, does this case ever raise some serious and scary questions about the quality of lifeguards and just how self-absorbed people may be to not even notice a dead woman beside them.

How do you think it's possible for a woman to float dead in a public swimming pool for two days with no one noticing?

Black "lifeguard" doesn't notice a turd floating at the bottom of the pool until it gets bloated and surfaces in the cesspool water. When you realize that the black Misery Beings are not "like us" and that they despise us, it will change your worldview for the sanest courses of action. Black Misery Beings are sociopathically self-driven completely. If it does not benefit their instinctual drives, they simply do not care about it. A dead Misery Being at the bottom of a black-polluted swimming cess-pool simply is something they cannot immediately eat, rape, steal from, or kill again. So therefore, it does not exist at all in the sociopathic drives of the black Misery Beings. Only when the turd began to float were these creatures then became forced to deal with the issue.

An example that is recent of a Black Misery Being trying to "Ghetto Lobster" another woman's child. It's in their genes. They are the SURVIVING offspring of African psychopathic rapist cannibals. Black Misery Beings are always genetic-psychopaths, understand this, know this at the core of your being, and you will survive the Jew-puppet Liberal horrors soon to be inflicted upon us nationwide. No, we are not "All Equal" and the lie that, "Race is a Social Construct", is no more evident when you look at the differences between feral wolves and domesticated dogs.

Police: Homeless Woman Snatches Baby From Stroller, Tries to Eat Its Arm

Police arrested a 36-year-old homeless woman for allegedly snatching a baby boy from his stroller and slamming him into a pole, then trying to break his arm off so she could eat it, authorities said Wednesday.

Adriana Miranda was walking with her sister in downtown Los Angeles during the July 21 incident, pushing her 4-month-old son down the street when Natasha Hubbard allegedly reached into the stroller, unbelted the baby and grabbed him by the leg, swinging him overhead before slamming him into a rail, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The boy’s mother and aunt tried to fight Hubbard off, and when Miranda was finally able to grab the baby back Hubbard scratched at her and kept trying to fight.

The baby received only minor injuries and was treated for bruises and scratches.

According to the Times, Hubbard ran away but witnesses helped identify her, leading to her arrest. She was charged with aggravated assault and her bail set at $30,000. She is currently on probation for both a narcotics case and a battery case, and has been arrested for aggravated assault before.

In an interview with detectives, Hubbard confirmed she tried to break the baby’s arm off in order to eat it.

It happened one night that a young slave girl was playing with a newly weaned infant, the child of a rich private citizen. While the child was by her side, a beggar-woman seized the very moment when the slave's eyes were turned away, tore open the child's stomach, and began to eat the flesh, quite raw. Many women have told me of people flinging themselves at them in order to snatch their children, and that they have had to use all their strength to save them.

Talking one day to a woman who carried a newly-weaned and very chubby child, I admired it and recommended her to take good care of it. She then told me that, when she had walking on the canal bank, a sturdy ruffian had attacked her and tried to snatch the child from her; that she had found no other way of sheltering it than to throw herself to the ground, holding the child beneath her, until a horseman happened to pass by, which forced the man to retreat. She added that the rascal had watched avidly of the chance of getting a grip on any of the child's limbs that might stray out from their shelter, so that he might eat it. The child was ill for some time afterwards as a result of the mauling he had suffered in the tug-of-war between the robber and herself, one trying to snatch him and the other to hold on to him.

Yeah, the body would sit there if she was black or hispanic. Let's face it - only white folks get treated with decency in this hellhole of a country. Police and health officials regularly ignore complaints and dangers to non-whites in this country, why would a lifeguard be any different? By the way - I'm whiter than Charmin, but I know evil when I see it.

well they said they kid reported it to the lifeguard...ok the lifeguard dropped the ball ...it also said the kid didnt tell anyone else...why not....its funny the kid going behind the lady you have to wait til they surface dont they so they dont do the very thing this woman did....anyway the life guard should be watching people coming down the sllide to go into the water so they dont get into trouble ....my god this is horrible .....I cant believe she wasnt missed for two days and I cant believe the people she went with didnt notice she wasnt there when they went home ...and if they did notice and talked about it the kid didnt say the last time I saw her she was in the deep end and she didnt come back up....why was the deep end closed so that no one could find her....it wasnt closed the day she went in.....and I cant imagine someone didnt bump into her when they dove in or slid in...my son dives and he gets to the bottom...and a lot of people have goggles ...this makes no sense at all....I agree something is not right....wouldnt the kid say something about the lady not being around for two days...?? thats wild and they should fire all the lifeguards..I know the ones at our city pool pay about as much attention as a rock..they are busy tanning and rubbing lotion on themselves maybe this will he a good thing for pools now they will start to check on their workers....

This story is as full of holes as Swiss Cheese. 1. She slid down the slide and did not surface after going in the water (reported by a kid to the LG on duty only to be ignored. 2. She was with friends and they went home without her. 3. For TWO DAYS swimmers swam, dove, and had a grand old time in the sun, and no one noticed her body. Well, I don't know about you guys, but, I would notice a dead body in the water of a swimming pool. Fact, when you die, you lose control of your bodily functions. You will urinate and have bowel movement. If I saw faeces in the water, and there had to be some, I would not get in and that would prompt me to contact management. This does not add up.

Heres a thought. Im so tired of hearing about these poor innocent people/children drowning for the lack of supervision. I think that they should start making people have license to own a pool and have those that swim in the pools be experienced by testing. I belonged to a swim club when I was younger and we had to take test to go to each next pool level. Why not implement this at home also.....????

I was in MA last week and read about the drowing in the local paper. It seems that the water at that end of the pool was described as "murky." I believe the guards and another official were all dismissed. The guards for obvious reasons, and the official for not closing the pool because of the cloudy water.

I can believe this. We just took our 3 young children (4 yrs and 2yr twins) to a water park in the Dells. I had all my kids in life jackets because 3 kids can go in all different directions at once. While I was trying to get my youngest son over by his twin I witnessed an adult knock her down. She was only in 1ft 6in of water, but because of the life jacket it knocked her face down in the water. She was unable to lift her head out of the water or get her feet under her on the pool bottom. There were at least 4 adults that watched this and not a single person helped her! I had to run to her from about 7 ft away and pull her up. She was coughing and spitting water. I couldn't believe everyone just sitting there staring at me while I pulled her out. WTH is wrong with people these days?!? If you see anyone..especially a child floating face down in a pool lift them up.

We have since contacted the maker of the life vests as they are dangerous and all 3 of my kids wound up face down in water while wearing them.

I've been to this pool.......once. You can't see your hand in front of your face in that water. Perhaps if they spent some money for chlorine & algaecide, and kept the water clear with a decent filter, the tragedy wouldn't have happened.

People are, as Bill Maher said Friday night,STUPID!
Today I saw a woman in a small 2 seat convertible with the top down, allowing 2 little 7 or 8 year old girls squeeze into the passenger seat ....,.I called over to her and said it was dangerous and totally illeghal, her response? Mind your own business!! I guess she meant if she wanted to kill or injure the kids it was her choice!
No one should EVER swim alone...never, never, never! Where were her companions? Like I said, STUPID!

The author of this stiory has left out key details of the original news story that explain how this happened.
The is a poor example of journalism. And a typical tabloid ploy.
