On the road: Your travel style

Do you ride a bike to work, or can you think of nothing worse than showing up sweaty at the office? Transportation is something that everybody has to deal with. How you do it could have a lot to do with your astrological sign.

ARIES
If the Ram doesn't have access to a chopper for their commute to work, they'll settle for a sports car. Or a really fancy racing bike. Just don't ask an Aries to take the bus.

TAURUS
You can be pretty sure to find a Volvo in the Bull's driveway -- and if there's a Porsche parked next to it, you can bet that's their non-Taurus buddy over for a visit. Taurus takes substance over flash, every time.

GEMINI
Gemini likes to have options. Maybe they'll rollerblade to work Monday, hop a mass transit vehicle Tuesday, strap on a helmet and bike to work Wednesday, then use their Prius to get around the rest of the week.

CANCER
Whether it's an old Mercedes or a lovingly restored vintage Beetle, the Crab wants a mode of transportation that has a history. They love elegance, and would rather put up with the occasional unexpected engine problem than ride around in a boring, brand new car.

LEO
Leo wants a really big motorcycle that makes a lot of noise. And of course they like to go faster than everybody else on the freeway so that all the other cars can watch them as they vroom-vroom their way to the head of the pack.

VIRGO
The Virgin would prefer something with enough room for everything they want to do (camping, schlepping furniture, ferrying friends around) but that isn't too big. After all, they have to park that thing!

LIBRA
Libra likes to carpool. Why? Because it's fair. They don't have to drive all the time, and their carpool partners don't have to either. The Scales adore saving money and gas, and they don't mind coordinating with a couple of other people to make that happen.

SCORPIO
Scorpio will take a train, but they won't set foot in Greyhound. They'll fly economy, but they're going to order a fancy drink. And if they have a car, you can bet the Scorpion is going to make sure it's a sleek one. The Scorpion wants something snazzy.

SAGITTARIUS
Sagittarius loves to take train trips. They don't mind long hauls on the bus, as long as they've never yet been to that particular destination. For the Archer, transportation is just that: A means of getting where you want to go. The more exotic, the better!

CAPRICORN
Capricorn wants to get where they're going without any problems. If this means they need a car, the Goat is going to get a good, steady, reliable one. If they live in a city where the subway is the best option, they'll buy a yearly pass and hop on.

AQUARIUS
Aquarius isn't afraid to hitchhike, but they'd rather catch a ride with a friend in the friend's beat-up Chevy. Not too picky about their wheels, Cap's are more concerned with the feel of the road, the sky overhead, the landscape, the sensation of bodies in motion and the meaning of time and space.

PISCES
Pisces is happiest on a boat, the feel of the water and the slow undulation as the ship plows softly through the waves. A sailboat may be best, but a motorboat is just fine. And if they don't have boat, the Fish is happy to jump in and swim wherever they need to go!
