A brocade chair won't do in the bathroom, so why not slipcover an old chair with terry cloth? It'll make for a cozy sitting spot after a shower or bath.
HOW-TO: Oversize terry cloth bath towels make terrific slipcovers. Preshrink the towels, then bring them to an upholsterer who can fashion them into a chair cover. Be sure to ask your upholsterer to add buttons down the back of the slipcover, so you can easily slip it on and off for laundering.
