"Any Minute" by Joyce Meyer
with Deborah Bedford
"Her life shattered in an instant...
But what if she had a chance to gain it all back?"
This will probably be the shortest book review that I have done do far.
It is the story of a career driven wife and mother who is climbing the
corporate ladder at the expense of her husband and family.
She is driven, she thinks, because she is good at what she does,
but the real driving force behind her, is her childhood.
Through an "unusual experience", actually a car accident that sends
her into a freezing river, she "finds herself" again and confronts and
overcomes the issues that have haunted her.
I did not buy this book, it belongs to a friend. Although I think highly
Ms Meyers and her ministry, I think sometimes a book becomes
a "Best Seller" because of who wrote it and not the content.
The moral of the story is good and true, but best seller material?
You be the judge.
As to the cost of the book, I have no idea.
I think it may have come through a book club.
