APIconic actor Patrick Swayze lost his two-year battle with pancreatic cancer today. He died peacefully surrounded by his family. He was 57 years old. A three-time Golden Globe nominee, Swayze's roles in "Ghost," "Dirty Dancing," "Point Break," Road House," "The Outsiders," "Red Dawn," "Too Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar," and many more, have cemented the actor as a true Hollywood legend. His death marks the latest in a string of talented, adored, and influential performers who have tragically died too young.
