Yeah, yeah, I know nude nails were hot for a second, and I still say they're great for work, but come on, could the be more boring?
That's why I'm so psyched for the latest and greatest nail trend (that all these celebs are sporting): bright nails, nails with crazy designs, fake nails, basically anything but boring ol' plain nails.

No. 5: Jessica Alba's candy apple red nails
Don't you love how Alba's polish pops against her green dress? Definitely makes a case for not matching.

No. 4: Katy Perry's bedazzled nails
But then again, Perry shows that using the colors of your dress on your nails can look pretty fab too. She's got some funky designs going on -- and proves that your nails don't have to be demure if you're wearing an outrageous outfit.
To get her look: Apply a sparkly purple shade like Hard Candy Just Nails in Hot Pants, $5, and then glue on tiny rhinestones.
No. 3: Eve's omg-why-didn't-we-think-of-that? Nails
OK, so black and silver aren't necessarily bright, but how much are you loving the polka dots? So cute and actually really easy to do. Just apply a base color (anything will work) and use a small paintbrush or even a toothpick to apply the dots.
No. 2: Pixie Lott's Sunny-D nails
Orange lipstick or eyeshadow? Kinda scary. Orange nail polish? Totally wearable and just screams summer. Wear it with a black or navy blue dress like Lott did to really make your nails stand out.

Beyonce's nails are like tiny, Technicolor Monet's. The swirling effect is best done either by buying fake nails pre-painted or heading to a salon. These are definitely notice-me nails though and they really liven up her beige dress.
