'Hangover' or not, Mel Gibson will be returning to theaters soon. The scandal-ridden star, accused of domestic violence, put on his best "who, me?" face for the poster of his latest movie, "The Beaver." The film, directed by longtime friend Jodie Foster, is about a guy who uses a hand puppet to get over his mental problems. Hmm.
After getting tossed off "The Hangover 2" because no one really wants to laugh with him right now, the status of Gibson's "Beaver" was up in the air. But this poster suggests Mel and his creepy stuffed animal are slated to hit theaters next year. Some people crunching numbers in Hollywood still think people will put aside the racist tirades, the frightening phone threats, the bizarre public outings, and just enjoy a movie with America's former leading superstar.
