As the host of ABC's summer reality competition Wipeout, Jill Wagner gets to see people fall - a lot. But it's the accomplishments she enjoys the most, as well as a good workout.

Though she's never tested the Wipeout course herself - "It's very intimidating," she says - Wagner is a definite fan of exercising outdoors. She enjoys taking her dog to Runyon Canyon in L.A. for fun hikes and 30-minute cardio runs.
But despite loving an outdoor jaunt, Wagner recognizes how easy it can be to cross a workout off a day's list. "It's really, really easy to make excuses as to why we can't go to the gym," she says. But, "If you can find time to sit in front of the TV for 45 minutes, you can find time to work out."

To avoid making excuses, Wagner tries to fit her workout in the a.m. "I like to get it out of the way earlier in the day," she says. By putting the time in early, the star has more energy for the rest of her day and avoids the post-work fatigue we all can fall prey to after a long day in the office.
Wagner also motivates herself to workout with music. This ABC host enjoys fun and upbeat tunes from artists ranging from Beyonce to Guns N' Roses. She hits the gym for 45 minute sessions three or four times a week. Once there, she works out with more bands than weights. She recently got a personal trainer at Fitness Factory L.A.

So what's it like being the host of Wipeout? "It's so much fun," Wagner says. "I get to be a big kid all day long." Her favorite part of the show is the "crazy personalities" that it brings. She enjoys being able to work outdoors, and as long as no one gets hurt, she can handle the participants' falls. But she'd much rather see them succeed. "You get to see people of all shapes and sizes and ages," she says, "and sometimes someone wins who surprises you."
