Perhaps one of the hardest parts of being The Bachelor on ABC's hit reality show is not being able to say "I love you" until the final rose ceremony - even when his leading lady says the L-word first. All of this ambiguity leaves many contestants wondering how the bachelor feels about them or if he's even interested, and before you know it, drama takes over. Whether dating on reality television or in real life, this is a very common scenario. Most men won't come right out and tell you how they feel immediately, or at least not until they're absolutely sure. But, there are a few signs that he will throw your way to let you know that he's in love, even if he hasn't uttered those three little words just yet.
1. He changes his plans for you: Sure, he may have been excited for a guys' night, but when you caught a cold, he chose to stay in with you instead. Tina B. Tessina, Ph.D., psychotherapist and author of "Love Styles: How to Celebrate Your Differences" reminds us to "keep in mind that he may be uncomfortable with flowers and verbal expression. But, if he's fixing your car, asking you what you like, or spending a lot of time with you, those are male ways of showing love." He'll try his hardest to make you happy and that's more important than hearing those three little words.
2. He treats you like a princess: Is he a fan of splurging on you? If your man is treating you to any luxury, regardless of the cost, it's a sign that he cares a lot. As M. Hill, author of "The Ones That Got Away: A Dating Memoir" shares, "When a man is in love with a woman, it's obvious. He makes plans for the future and he makes you feel special. Guys are not looking for girl 'friends,' so if he's spending time with you, he's into you."
3. He tells you anything and everything: "He wants to bring you into his life and share it all with you," says relationship expert and author Aimee Elizabeth. A man who truly loves you will make you feel valued by trusting you with his deepest secrets. He's willing to open up about his past because he sees you as a part of his future.
