4 ways to impress a guy you just met

When you are around a guy you like a lot, you obviously want to make a good impression. You don't want to say or do anything that will make him think less of you. Well, impressing a guy doesn't require much effort at all if you just be yourself. Here are four ways to impress a guy you just met.

Have Good Manners

Although they're downplayed, having good manners is still very important. Displaying good manners around the guy you like will show him that you are polite and classy. Remember to say "please" and "thank you," avoid talking with your mouth full and don't arrive to your date late.

Be Engaging

The best way to be engaging is to truly show interest in the guy you're out with. If you can't think of anything to say, ask him questions about himself. For example, if you find out that he's big into traveling, ask him where he's been and what places he would like to visit in the future. Doing this will show him that you are genuinely interested in him.

Act Positive

No one likes being around negative people, so you should try to be as positive as you can when you are around the guy you like. Don't talk about how much you hate your ex-boyfriend or go on about how slow the waitress is. Being so negative will turn him off very fast, so try to have a positive attitude while you are with him. My boyfriend said to me once that one of the main reasons he started liking me is the positive outlook I had when we first met.

Show Confidence

Men love women who have confidence; it is truly one of the most important qualities you can have. When you are around the guy you like, make eye contact, have good posture and don't be afraid to show him how you feel about him.

If the guy you're into doesn't like the real you, don't get discouraged. There will be plenty of other guys out there who will. Just continue to be yourself and don't do something out of character to impress someone you like.
