1. Bird Droppings

When bird droppings land on your head, many believe this to be a major sign of wealth coming from heaven.

2. Ladybugs

The ladybug is considered to bring good luck and prosperity. A ladybug landing on you is thought to lessen your burden. Conversely, killing a Ladybug is considered bad luck.

3. Dolphins

Dolphins are considered lucky in many different cultures, including ancient Greece, Sumer, Egypt and Rome. It is a symbol of protection, and its image is said to bring good luck.

4. When Your Hands Tingle

If your hands tingle, it is said to be a sign that money is either coming to you or leaving you. The general consensus is that when your left hand tingles, money is coming to you. When it is the right hand, it means money is leaving you.

5. When a Butterfly Flies Into Your Home

A butterfly coming into your home means that you are about to receive some important guests.

If the butterfly has bright colors, it means the visitor will bring good news relating to your love life. If the butterfly is dark -- almost black -- the visitor is bringing you good news related to your career or business.

6. If You Put on Your Clothes the Wrong Way Around

Accidentally putting your clothes on the wrong way is said to be a sign of extreme good fortune.

It indicates that you will shortly receive some windfall or some very favourable news. This is a particularly good omen for those who have been suffering a spate of bad luck, as it suggests that your luck is about to change for the better.

This is one of the most powerful indications that the family is about to become seriously wealthy.

The Chinese regard bats as symbols of abundant wealth. The circular pattern of five bats is a very popular design feature found on furniture, paintings and ceramics.

The Chinese believe that bats nest only in auspicious places -- they have highly developed sensory parts that are able to "smell" out places with auspicious chi. The next time bats come and nest in the eaves of your home, rejoice because this heralds good fortune.

8. When Your Date of Birth Adds Up to Eight

When your birthday adds up to an eight, without any remainder, such as in 9/6/65 (9 + 6 + 65 = 80) you will be lucky all through the period of eight, which does not end until 4th February 2024.

The numeral 8 is already magically powerful, so when one's birthday adds up to eight, it is an indication of good luck.

9. Cows

The cow is a symbol of prosperity and fertility. Of course, encountering a cow is not something likely to happen in big cities, except maybe in India, where the cow is considered to be sacred.

Although it sounds odd, finding your initials on a spider web is said to be an indication you will have good luck forever.

Like the spider, you will attract food and money, without even trying.

Alligator teeth are said to bring luck to gamblers in Africa.

A gift of bamboo is considered good luck, specifically the Dracaena (botanical name) Lucky Bamboo.

The simultaneous appearance of the sun and rain is a very good sign.

This is when it is most likely for you to see rainbows in the sky. When the sun is shining brightly with rain showers, it means that everything you are working on will be successful.
