Betty White Joined Twitter!
Everyone's favorite funnylady has just joined Twitter. Welcome aboard, Betty White!

You guys. This is SUPER exciting. Seriously, I haven't been this excited about a celebrity hopping on the Twitter bandwagon in… well, ever. Get ready, everyone:
BETTY WHITE JOINED TWITTER.
Yesssssss!
The illustrious Hot in Cleveland star joined the social networking site yesterday, and even though she's only been on it for about 16 hours, she's already amassed over 100,000 followers-with more sure to come. So far, she's treated us to three bite-sized pieces of classic Betty humor. First there was this:

And yes, in case you weren't aware, Betty has a new show now in addition to Hot in Cleveland called Betty White's Off Their Rockers, which consists of elderly people playing pranks on members of the younger generations.
You heard me. It's essentially Punk'd: The Betty White Edition. As Betty told us, it airs at 8pm on Wednesday nights on NBC. Reality TV doesn't get much better than that!
Anyway, I have no doubt that Betty will make excellent use of the Twitter format. The Office's Mindy Kaling once said of the social media tool, "You know the whole thing where if it takes a long time to write a poem, then you probably shouldn't be writing poetry? With Tweets, if you're sitting around for more than 45 seconds, it's probably not the medium for you;" given the speed of Betty's wit, therefore, I think we can safely assume that she'll be using Twitter to bring it to us all day, every day.
