We are a country of poor sleepers. In fact, the National Sleep Foundation says that 41% percent of Americans report having sleep problems. And we're guessing the start of Daylight Saving Time this week isn't helping much.

But thanks to a new line of laundry products from Proctor & Gamble, you might be able to get more shut-eye just by washing your sheets. The company's new Sweet Dreams line claims its lavender scent helps insomniacs relax at bedtime. While I can't necessarily prove that they'll help everyone catch more zzz's, I did try the products and loved them!

The collection includes Tide Plus a Touch of Downy ($12), and Downy Unstopables ($7), beads you shake into your washer to act as a "scent-booster." You can also try Sweet Dreams Downey fabric softener ($4) and Bounce dryer sheets ($6), but don't use these products on kid's pajamas -- they may reduce the sleepwear's flame-resistance.
