Conscious Music Entertainment, is a talent agency who targets positive artist to help role model for today's youth. Owned by Nashville award winning songwriter, Milliea Taylor McKinney. McKinney, who is partnered by five time promoter of the year, and former VP of MCA records Pat Melfi. Melfi also, co-owner of StarPointe records, and Founder of Muzart World Foundation, which is a 501 (C) public charity that will fund music, and arts programs in public schools.
Conscious Music Entertainment, mentors youth who strive to be successful in serving their community, and also, who are focused on future goals that will assist them in reaching their future goals in becoming productive citizens in their communities while preparing for their chosen fields or, careers.
Currently Josie Passantino, of the Josie Show, an internet web talk show that interviews, and entertains people from all walks of life including Grammy artist, and people in the news. Josie who started her journey in radio at age 14, has earned two nominations as 'Best Entertainment' web talk show. Now at 17, she host two very successful programs including her own 'The Josie Show,' and 'The Southern Star,' a Nashville based independent program playing the latest in country music. Josie whose aspiration was to become a songwriter recording her own material has recently had the opportunity to take form through Millie's company Conscious Music Entertainment. Last weekend Josie, traveled to Ohio, to meet up with her mentor bringing with her her vocal coach Gloria Brown, from New Jersey, and mom, and producer of her show Tina Passantino to record her debut single 'Teenage Girl.' The Song took life when she began getting songwriting instruction from Milliea, who is noted in nashville as a award winning songwriter, writing for the legends of country music. The song debuts late spring.
McKinney, also mentoring Lenore Luca, a teen n New Jersey, who is an advocate for bullying, and teen homelessness. Luca, now 18, also with a successful web talk show uses her voice to enlighten her peers, and to empower them to become aware of their own power to make a difference not only in their communities but, also within themselves to be the best they can be. Lenore, a motivational speaker and future student of broadcasting. McKinney, states that in both of her students she instills in them all things are possible if they just believe. She also cautions them that they will run across those who may try to kill their dream. But, the dream is always alive if you guard it feed it and return the positive back into the universe by doing to others as you would like them to do unto you..
