Throw a Better Party: 10 Fun Ideas from Our Pinterest Experts

The only time we don't like a party? When it's over. Still, what a celebration our #LetsCelebrate Pin Party turned out to be! Congratulations again to Kimberly Sneed of A Night Owl on her winning entry. With 22 of our favorite bloggers participating, we just couldn't keep their creative and whimsical ideas to ourselves! Here are our top 10 entertaining ideas from our #LetsCelebrate Pin Party board.

Sugar & Cloth

Ashley of Sugar & Cloth dressed up the invitations to her evening dinner party by adding fun fringe to the bottom.

Pushups with Polish

When we gave Emily of Pushups with Polish lemons (Martha Celebrations Lemon Party goodies, that is), she threw a brunch! For a fresh and easy centerpiece, coat a mason jar with gold spray paint and fill it with bright blooms.

Pen n' Paperflowers

We always appreciate a clever theme, and Jessica of Pen n' Paperflowers didn't disappoint. Her "Rooted Deeply in Love"-themed bridal shower played up the earthy offerings of the Martha Celebrations Sweetgrass collection with nibbles served in terra cotta pots and a clever fix-it-yourself "parfait potting station."

A Blissful Nest

Potted boxwood and bowls of lemons make a charming centerpiece at this summer soiree planned by Rebekah of A Blissful Nest. Layer yellow floral plates with square blue ones, and top the stack with coordinating favor boxes to create pretty place settings.

CAKE.

Becca of CAKE. serves up dessert buffet-style at her botanical garden party. The table features botanical prints, a vintage bamboo tray with Weck juice jars, and hand-painted terra cotta pots for a pop of color.

Celebrations at Home

Gold shines brightly at this outdoor party put on by Chris of Celebrations at Home. Add an air of elegance to an alfresco atmosphere by nestling utensils in a white napkin, wrapping it with a pretty patterned one, and securing the bundle with ribbon.

Cupcakes and Cutlery

Sharon of Cupcakes and Cutlery topped off her dessert and cocktail party with a serve-yourself gin and tonic bar -- complete with vibrant fresh fruit, herbs, and flowers. She repurposed tags from the Martha Celebrations Sterling Party favor boxes to make lovely labels for the custom syrups.

Something Turquoise

There's no better backdrop for a turquoise, gold, and white bridal shower than the beach. Jen of Something Turquoise played up the feminine seaside theme with breezy linens, soft florals, and turquoise seashells.

The Party Dress

Knowing the power of a crisp palette, Kelly of The Party Dress opted to add patriotic flair to her festive blue-and-white summer party. White footed servingware, geometric cupcake liners, and floral picks add elegance to the sweet treats, which literally feature a cherry on top.

Save the Date for Cupcakes

Boasting an unexpected turquoise, yellow, and pink palette, Tanya of Save the Date for Cupcakes' turquoise celebration gives us plenty to celebrate about. To get the look of her beautiful buffet table, cover foam core board with gift wrap from the Martha Celebrations Turquoise collection, open the honeycomb hanging decorations halfway, and mount them using their adhesive lining.
