The only thing we love more than a holiday DIY is one that does double duty. Turn those lonely socks in your laundry room into a stocking that grows with your child -- each year, sew a new one on top.
1. Cut cuff off stocking's topmost sock, and cut foot off sock you're adding; discard.
2. Turn remaining pieces inside out; sew together, right sides facing.
3. Sew on loop for hanging.
