50 Cent’s house “suspiciously” burned down—possible foul play

Just as we were getting pumped today at the word of 50 Cent's new Apprentice-style reality show for MTV, we found out that a Long Island, N.Y. home belonging to the rapper mysteriously burned down. His former girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins has been living in the house with her two children, but apparently six people were hospitalized after suffering smoke inhalation. The worst part? Arson investigators are suspected some type of foul play.

"I would say there is a strong - a strong, strong - possibility that [the fire] is suspicious," says Dix Hills Fire Department Chief Larry Feld, When asked why he cited "The rapid movement of the fire. The volume of the fire ... It was engulfed. The home was totally gutted." Tompkins had filed suit against 50 Cent several months ago claiming he promised her the house over a decade ago. We'll keep you posted on further investigations. [People]
