About A-Blake Records
A-Blake Records (ABR) was founded in 2011 in Deer Park, Texas, by business owner Blake Barnes and entertainment attorney Daniel Sanders. Dave Darus, who has worked with such artists as Melissa Etheridge, Maroon 5, Elton John and the Bee Gees, signed on as president in August of 2011 to shape the career path of rising country music artist Jason Cassidy.

Cassidy's #1 single "Honky Tonk Heaven" (Texas Regional Radio Report) was the label's first success and a Top 10 Texas hit followed with the single "What If." The song served as Cassidy's national introduction as more than 70 stations across the country picked it up and the accompanying music video reached the #1 spot on the CMT Pure 12-Pack Countdown. Cassidy is currently promoting the Top 10 Texas single "Ride of Your Life," and preparing to release his next single, "Blame It On Waylon," early next year.
