Chloe Marshall Might Just Rock Miss England, Plus-Size Style

It feels a bit weird to say that I have a girl crush on 16-year-old Chloe Marshall, the current reigning Miss Surrey who is vying for the title of Miss England. She's a U.S. size 14 and is going into the competition with the intent to break some stereotypes and perceptions of beauty.

In an age when children of six are dieting, and eating disorders are increasing, it can be no coincidence that just over a year ago three catwalk models died of anorexia. So it is more than a little refreshing to see a young model with a healthily proportioned attitude. After all, the average British woman is a size 16 so models who reflect real women are desperately needed.

While I take exception of the Sun's use of the word "real women" (women are real regardless of their weight, whether they are size 0 or size 20. Discounting super thin women is just as much of a sin as discounting super not thin women, but I digress), I applaud their coverage of Chloe and dedication to the promotion of a healthy body image. Plus, that picture of her with the cleavage? Smoking hot.

Again with the guilt though. You know those "Countdown to Legal" on starlets like LiLo and Vanessa Minnillo? I totally get it now.
