Co-author of “100 Things to Do Before You Die” passes away at 47--what’s on your to-do list?

With a heavy dose of unfortunate irony, Dave Freeman, co-author of "100 Things to Do Before You Die: Travel Events You Just Can't Miss," passed away after falling and hitting his head at the very youthful age of 47. The lesson here: Freeman was right in thinking that, "this life is a short journey," and we need to seize the day. We hope he got to experience at least the majority of the 100 things he wished to see and accomplish, such as attend the Academy Awards, run with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain and take a voodoo pilgrimage in Haiti.
