Decorating Your Home for Less

Have you looked at your house and said I need a change? But then you look at your checkbook and it starts laughing at you. Well if you are looking for a change and do not have spare change to make that remodel then here are some tips to help you decorate for less. First, do not be afraid to try new things in your home. Shop thrift and second hand stores and look for possibilities, remember redecorating does not mean that you have to buy everything new. Believe it or not the most compliments I have gotten about my home have been the items I have purchased at these stores. With a little bit of elbow grease, you can make a fabulous piece for your redo. Next research and brainstorm to get decorating ideas, you won't know if the latest trend is really you until you start looking around for pieces. The best advice that I can give you in this journey is to decide what kind of home you want. I have friends whose houses look like they are right out of magazine, but my house is comfortable, casual, and lived in. Determining the style of your house will determine what you will use to decorate.
