Dolvett Quince isn't Haunted by Jillian's Ghost on Biggest Loser

It cannot be easy to fill the shoes of Jillian Michaels. For an incredibly petite 5'2" person, she casts a very large shadow, especially where Biggest Loser is concerned. So we couldn't help but wonder if Dolvett Quince, one of two new trainers two take over the spot vacated by Jillian last spring, felt like there were any "Jillian ghosts" lingering. The idea gave him a good laugh and he assured us that he wasn't aware of any ghosts. In a recent interview Dolvett said he's never met the former Biggest Loser trainer and because of that he's able to "just do what I do best and bring my expertise to the show."

We're only two weeks in to the new Biggest Loser season and fans are already taken with the tall, motivating, and incredibly good looking trainer. A Stamford, CT native, Dolvett has called Atlanta home for several years. It's there that he opened his Body Sculptor studio, which has since spun off two DVD workouts - Body Sculptor and Me and My Chair. When he isn't working with obese clients to help them lose hundreds of pounds, including his brother Joey who was able to drop 200 pounds, Dolvett has lent his expertise to celebrities. Most recently he helped prepare Justin Bieber for his tour.

We had a chance to visit with Dolvett about life at Loser, a place where he says he's "in my element," as well as get to know a little more about his off-camera self. Here are some highlights from our conversation.

DIR: How did you get this coveted spot on Biggest Loser?
DQ: I told them I was extremely busy, leave me alone. I'm joking!

DIR: How do you stay fit?
DQ: I do a little bit of everything: lifting weights, yoga, resistance

DIR: Any guilty pleasures?
DQ: I have a huge sweet tooth, but not for chocolate. I like pastries!

DIR: What's the best exercise for working lower abs?
DQ: Engage lifting your legs. If your feet are on the ground you're concentrating on the upper abs. Leg lifts focus on the lower abs.
