Twitter can be useful for all sorts of reasons-keeping in touch with friends, promoting yourself or your work, learning fun new facts… and laughing your head off. There are boatloads of parody Twitter accounts out there; from long-dead historical figures to fictional characters, there's a little something for everyone. Naturally, there are also quite a few Twitter accounts that parody celebrities, and since celebrities are our bread and butter here at BettyConfidential, we've rounded up 12 of our favorites here for you. Ever wondered what would happen if Kim Kardashian got unexpectedly philosophical? If Mark Zuckerberg used Twitter, what might he say? Speculations abound here!

NOTE: THESE ARE ALL FAKE ACCOUNTS. They are in NO WAY connected to the real people they spoof. Just, y'know, in case that wasn't clear. They are, however hilarious, so get ready to laugh!

1. Kim Kierkegaardashian

What happens when the philosophy of Soren Kierkegaard meets Kim Kardashian? Kim Kierkegaardashian, that's what-and it is, dare we say, magnificent. For what could be more compelling than a series of existential crises based around whether one should wear a pop of red or not?

2. The Queen and Prince Charles

Okay, so technically we've got two here, which brings our actual total of celeb Twitter parodies up to 13; but since they're both of the same ilk, we're going to lump them together. The Queen'supdates during the Olympics were particularly amusing; Prince Charles, meanwhile, regularly has some rather choice observations about pop culture.

3. Not Tilda Swinton

The Not Tilda Swinton Twitter exploded during the eclipse back in May; we later found out that it was created by a 21-year-old named Eli Yudin, who mostly began the project as a way to keep himself entertained while he recovered from getting his wisdom teeth taken out. Alas, Not Tilda Swinton is mostly dormant now, but we highly recommend going back and reading its archives in all their glory. Totally worth it (you fur-covered eagles, you).

4. Not Burt Reynolds

Not Burt Reynolds had some entertaining adventures during the Olympics. He's also rather fond of his mustache. In fact, according to him, he INVENTED the mustache.

5. Fake Michael Bay

Naturally, Fake Michael Bay's Twitter involves a lot of explosions. We feel really bad for that poor Pomeranian.

6. Siri and John (Malkovich, that is)

Remember that bizarrely hilarious iPhone commercial with John Malkovich from a few months ago? Perhaps unsurprisingly, someone created a Twitter account full of the things that John might ask of Siri. Just imagine what the movie Being John Malkovich would have been like had the iPhone been invented then….

7. Zooey (Deschanel, of course) Asks Siri

Zooey Deschanel's iPhone commercial was somewhat less weird than John Malkovich's, but the corresponding Twitter account is still pretty funny. What can you find here? Everything you'd ever expect a Manic Pixie Dream Girl to ask Siri-as well as some things you probably wouldn't expect. Just what is she planning on doing with that licorice wig, anyway?

8. Not Mark Zuckerberg

Not Mark Zuckerberg likes to spend his days spewing out razor-sharp witticisms about the state of social media and technology. The irony of it being a Twitter account escapes no one.

9. Justin Buber

Did you get a kick out of the philosophical musings of Kim Kierkegaardashian? Good news: We've got another philosophical celebrity parody Twitter for you: Justin Buber. Combining the lyrics (and Internet shorthand) of Justin Bieber with the existentialism of Martin Buber results in some of the most advanced teenage angst you'll ever read.

10. Not Yoko Ono

So true, Not Yoko Ono. So true. P.S. Don't worry, we don't blame you for breaking up theBeatles.

11. TMZ Parody

Okay, so TMZ itself isn't a celebrity; but it does usually have some rather strong opinions ABOUT celebrities, so perhaps it was inevitable that someone would eventually parody it. Sadly, this one also seems to be dormant, but it's still pretty hilarious. Sorry about the cheap Lohan shot.

12. Nicki Minavicenna

And rounding out our trio of philosophical celebrity Twitter parodies is Nicki Minavicenna, the result of the mashing together of Nicki Minaj lyrics and the thoughts of Persian polymathAvicenna. Pardon the language, but the humor really comes from the contrast between the highbrow and the lowbrow. Word.
