Life can't be easy for Lynne Spears who spends her days fending off negative attention garnered by troubled celeb spawn Britney and 17-and-preggers Jamie Lynn. But as a mother, isn't it her job to guide them, not just pray for things to get better? "I'm a bit disappointed that my youngest daughter got pregnant at such an early age," Lynne tells Life & Style. "All I can do is turn to God for answers and just leave it in his hands." Or maybe putting a condom in JL's hands would have helped.

But nevertheless, Lynne insists, "Jamie Lynn will be a wonderful mother," she says. "She really has a way with children -- she's a natural nurturer. I just wish she had waited a bit." And now onto problem child numero dos: Miss Brit. "I pray for Britney every day to be a better mother. She's gone through a lot of trauma, but she seems to be coming out of it -- and it's showing in her relationship with the boys. They're really bonding. I think 2008 will be a better year for all of us." Man, we sure hope so! [Perez, dlisted]
