McCain's VP pick: Will Sarah Palin help him win?

Presidential-hopeful, John McCain, announced on Friday that the relatively unknown Alaska governor, Sarah Palin, would be his Republican running mate. It was a fairly surprising choice and much speculation has been made on whether it was a strategic move to pick up some of the youth vote (she's only 44 years old, whereas 72-year-old McCain would be the oldest president to ever enter office) and some would-be Hillary Clinton supports (she'd be the first female acting as Vice President and is already the first female running on the Republican presidential ticket).
After taking the long weekend to get to know the candidate, do you think Sarah Palin was a good choice? Can she help John McCain beat Barack Obama and Joe Biden?
