Money Management

I allways find it interesting how money plays such a large role in peoples lives and how lucky you are just to have it. If your one of the lucky ones you got enough money to have a nice place to live and everything in life taken care of that you need and want. Still their are some who are ver unlucky who have found that money is a very hard commodity to get and just as hard to keep since they don't have much of in the first place. In talking to a woman friend recently she says that if you don't have money anyone who is stuck with this problem should get welfare,SSI or SSDI goverment assistance to cure the money ills thay have. To which I replied to that waht ever happened to being self sufficient and doing things that don't require a goverment hand in your pocket and a choke hold on your freedom. This lovely woman thinks that in order to make it and have all you want that the tax payers of America should foot the bill for everyone who is not willing to work including her. I say that in America you should work to get what you want and take care of your own self even if it means temporary living with less of everything in order to be self sufficent. I think that too many of my fellow countrymen are way too much dependant on goverment assistance which contributes to a lower of standard of living and innovation than the rest of America. I can relate to both sprectrums of wealth and dire poverty as I have experianced both in my lifetime which is never fun when you run out of money and then you run out of options to pick from with your life. I can sure tell you that having lots of money does bring happyness to a peersons life perticularly if you have been dirt poor as i was growing up in New England in a rural farm town. I decided to change that by going into business for myself and then adding more business ventures as I went further in age in my twenties which grew my wealth factor a lot. I learned early in life that if you want something you haveto work for it or be allready wealthy in order to get the things you need and want out of life for yourself and your family. By bringing this ethic forward through the years of my life I have been able to do many things that others have failed at doing both in businees and personal things that really made me shine compared to my friends. They never took risks combined with allways have gone a root of safe zone so that they never experianced what it is to get the thing you want by going after it with zeal and still keeping your integerty at the same time. I had to laugh recently when this same woman friend suggested that no women in her right mind would ever want me because I don't have a couple million in the bank and so because of the dollar bill I would be alone the rset of my life. Standing last Sunday at a church service I looked at a nice women and thought gee she would probabily be right for me but my woman friend standing neext to me was quick to point out she is out of your league because you could not afford her so said my woman friend. So I learned that from her negative point of view that a woman judges a man by how much money he has or does not have and if you are one of the population according to her lacking in sufficient money then you will be alone forever. I find that management of money issues to be difficult because it effects every aspect of ones life even in areas of life you would not expect it to do in a modern age. Having a good finacial plan and having the wealth to do anything you want is such a great advantage that is only enjoyed by the very priviledged few who got lucky in life and are able to keep the wealth they have available. If I bet many of my readers can realate to my story of winning and losing it all many times over which is in my lifetime happened to me and it is not fun to sink to the bottom winding up with nothing to your name. I could say that the moral to the story is to work and begin putting a portion of money away ever week in a tin can or a saving account and also invest a portion in stocks that pay dividends that pay you a steady monthly income so you allways have money still owned by you. By doing this you grow wealth and stability that you will need as you grow older and your needs become greater towards retirement age while becoming a better advocate for your own changes in how you earn, save and spend your money.
