The comedic force known as Catherine O'Hara is in talks to star in a new ABC dramedy pilot called Good Behavior from Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas. O'Hara will play the matriarch of a family of criminals who decides to go legit after the husband lands in prison-sounds highly engaging, and we're thrilled at the idea of getting to watch her regularly.

A star who got her start on Canada's famous Second City TV (Eugene Levy, John Candy, Rick Moranis), we first fell in love with Catherine as the eccentric mom in 1988's Beetle Juice. While her memorable turns in Home Alone, Nightmare Before Christmas (she voiced Sally), and HBO's series Six Feet Under, it's Christopher Guest's series of documentaries that have made O'Hara a bonafide star. Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show and A Mighty Wind wouldn't be the same without her genius comedic timing, willingness to take risks and let's not forget her hilarious vocal prowess. We love you, Catherine! Glad you're finally getting the recognition you deserve. [EW]
