Over "The Hills"! Why LC, Audrina, Heidi and Whitney should pack it in and get off our TV's

After last night's episode I have given up on "The Hills." This season has been painful to watch and watching LC go out with her annoying ex and move into a new mansion with her girls made me want to gag. Make it stop! Dear Lord, please make it stop.

"The Hills"-let me list the reasons you have done me wrong:

  • The whole thing is staged, and it's so obviously staged at this point. How many times can these people run into each other BY ACCIDENT at the same club or restaurant.

  • There are no new characters. How many times can you bring "Laguna Beach" alums like Brody Stephen, Lo and Jason back on the show. Don't they make any new friends?

  • The settling is old. We've moved on to bigger and better things-like rich NYC brats on "Gossip Girl."

  • The relationships are dull. They can be friends or they can fight - only so much can happen between people! In the real world Heidi and Lauren would have gone their separate ways years ago and that'd be a wrap.

  • Lauren is whiny. As the narrator, she's the person who's commenting on everyone else's loves: that she's bummed Whitney left "Teen Vogue," she's shocked Audrina went out with ex-bf Justin, she's upset Brody has a girlfriend, she's pissed Heidi is still with Spencer. So much complaining!

  • Their wardrobe s(styled or not) are ridiculous. We're not sure if they'd teeter down the sidewalk in 5" heels if there were no camera watching, but either way, we're laughing at them.

  • Heidi and Spencer aren't even villains. They're almost the more likable characters on this show at this point. The staged hype about them being bad is a snooze. So they're dumb. Aren't they all? And we could care less if their relationship is real or fake.

  • Lauren always does the wrong thing. We don't even feel bad for LC anymore, because she is never doing anything proactive! Remember how she blew her chance to go to Paris for the summer to be with Jason? Her bad choices have gone from depressing to annoying.

  • Our beloved Whitney gets no screen time. Who cares about freaking Lo! That witch just weaseled her way into being Lauren's roommate to get on camera. Go away! We want Whit!!
