Sex industry seeks out Spitzer’s hooker
Former Governor Elliot Spitzer may have paid "Kristen" aka Ashley Alexandra Dupre $1,000 an hour, but experts in the sex industry think she could be making more. Accumulating over 7.5 million hits on her MySpace page, interest in Ashley is growing, and where there's curiosity, money will follow. "We've been looking at that very closely," says Hustler publisher Larry Flynt. "She's young. She's pretty. She's a model. We would love to do business with her, and we will approach her." The AP reports that Penthouse Magazine Group president and publisher Diane Silberstein said she would, "love to have her in the magazine," and a cover shoot wouldn't be out of the question. Dennis Hof, owner of legal, high-class brothel Moonlite Bunny Ranch in Reno, Nevada, told PageSix.com he would "absolutely" offer Ashley a job and thinks she would make "$250,000 quickly, in a few months." We'd be willing to bet E! and VH1 are duking it out for dibs on her reality show right this minute.
