VIDEO: Pretty Prom Makeup

Forget prom queen. You'll be the empress after you follow these makeup steps for the big night.

Step 1:
Start by applying a foundation or tinted moisturizer. I used L'Oreal True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup for a glowing complexion. Use concealer for extra coverage, to hide under eye circles or acne. I love L'Oreal True Match Super-blendable Crayon Concealer.

Step 2:
Apply a shimmering champagne eyeshadow, like L'Oreal 24HR Infallible Eye Shadow in Iced Latte, to the inner corners of your eyes. Then apply a shimmering bronze, like the same brand in Amber Rush, to the lid area. Finish off with a purple eyeshadow -- same brand in Perpetual Purple -- on the outer corners of the eyes, as well as the lower lash line.

Use a light brown to blend with the purple and fade into the crease of the eyes. Lastly, apply a soft shimmery white shadow to the brow bone.

Step 3:
The last step for your eyes is to apply a liquid liner to the upper lash line and create a winged effect. I used L'Oreal 12HR Infallible The Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner.

Then apply a voluminous mascara to your upper and lower lashes. For an amped-up effect, try adding some false lashes. Here, I used Kardashian Beauty Lash Dash Bardot lashes.

Step 4:
Apply blush, bronzer, and highlighter to your cheeks. I love using Urban Decay Naked Flush because it has all those three products in one compact.

Step 5:
For a pretty, pink pout, I chose the Kardashian Beauty Joystick Lip Lacquer in Babydoll Pink, which is a light-pink lipstick. Then I finish that off with Honey Stick Lip Gloss in Cherry Blossom, a light-pink lip gloss.
