Whatever happened to… our favorite ladies of the 90s

Some stars retire, others become mommies and take a break and then… well we always wonder what happens to some people. Come with us for a stoll down memory lane as we reminisce over our favorite ladies of…about 20 years ago.

Alicia Silverstone - The babe from the Aerosmith videos totally like became our wannabe BFF in 1995's Clueless after she lost out on the lead role on My So-Called Life (wow that would have been weird!). She never landed any stellar roles after until her cancelled show, Miss Match, which we kinda liked. Alicia, if you're reading this, we heart you.

Winona Ryder - When someone has Edward Scissorhands, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Reality Bites and Girl, Interrupted on their resume, you'd think they'd be set for life. Insert a few crappy throwaways (Autumn in New York, Mr. Deeds) and a major clothing theft from Saks Fifth Avenue and you can almost consider your career dunzo.

Cindy Crawford - Aside from being maybe the hottest supermodel ever and making us run out to buy Pepsi and Revlon products, we loved watching Cindy on MTV's House of Style. Sure she was the first supermodel to strip down for Playboy, but anyone who can make women everywhere proud of their moles is someone we can get behind. As a 4-year-old mom, she's still looking fab as ever!

Neve Campbell - After her TV series Party of Five (woohoo Matthew Fox!), Scream, The Craft and Wild Things, this ballerina-turned-actress released a few duds and moved on to live theater. What's she up to now? Who knows.

Roseanne - We loved her self-titled sitcom where the mom was anything but June Cleaver, but her 1998 talk show marked the beginning of the end for Tom Arnold's ex.

Sarah Michelle Gellar - This soap star was a 90s favorite in I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream2 and Cruel Intentions. Then she got married to fellow actor Freddie Prinze Jr. and we kinda stopped caring about both of them.

Kim Basinger - We're sort of cheating here since this former model was around long before the 90s, but it was her performance in 1997's L.A. Confidential that earned Kim an Academy Award. Even buying a town in Georgia with movie studios and a film festival couldn't help her career from fizzling out.

The Spice Girls (minus Posh) - When the most successful female group of all time dismantled in 2001 a part of us-and all their careers-died. If Posh hadn't shacked up with David Beckham we probably would never have heard about any of them again.

Tiffani Amber Thiessen - Saved by the Bell's beloved cheerleader Kelly Kapowski transformed into 90210's trouble-making vixen Valeria Malone before our eyes. What happened next? A lot of garbage and a newfound place in our heart for Shannen Doherty on the 90210 remake.

Julia Roberts - Well, she hasn't exactly disappeared, as she was awesome in last years Charlie Wilson's War, but America's once biggest actress now has three kids and enjoys being more low profile. Pretty Woman, Sleeping with the Enemy, The Pelican Brief, Tinkerbell in Hook, My Best Friend's Wedding, Notting Hill, Runaway Bride… man, we miss her dearly.

Who was your favorite 90s star?
