Why we need to boycott “The Hills”: They earn $75,000 an episode and are getting legit careers

The SuperficialThe SuperficialYes, we have written several blogs about how much we detest "The Hills" and are irritated by it's success yet still confessed to watching the season four premiere last week. Well, today after discovering that the show's star, Lauren Conrad, earns $75,000 per episode, we've decided once and for all that we are boycotting. Other salaries:

  • Heidi Montag: $65,000 per episode ($1.25 million per year)
  • Spencer Pratt: $65,000 per episode ($1.25 million per year)
  • Audrina Patridge: $35,000 per episode ($665,000 annually)
  • Whitney Port: $20,000 per episode ($380,000 per season)
  • Brody Jenner: $10,000 per episode ($190,000 a year)
  • Lauren "Lo" Bosworth: $10,000 per episode ($190,000 for The Hills Season 4)
  • Stephanie Pratt: $8,000 per episode ($152,000 for The Hills Season 4)
Apparently "Hills" villain, Heidi Montag, has deemed herself more valuable to the program's plot than Audrina, but forgive us for not congratulating her. Montag just filmed the 80s inspired video for her latest single "Overdosin'" and the images (see above) are as equally vomit-inducing to us as the news that we will never earn what these so-called actors are making. One MTV show is enough--let's not allow these untalented kids to take over other arenas as well.

Do you find the success of "The Hills" stars as unbelievably irritating as we do? [Defamer][The Superficial]
