This turkey and cheese pocket is sure to get two thumbs up from your kids!

Crescent rolls made with pre-made dough is one of our favorite treats to have for breakfast on weekends. Recently, I saw some recipes out there that added extras to the dough to make new dishes with them it, so I tried the most famous one: pigs in a blanket. They're perfect for the lunchboxes, and they were a hit! Working with the pre-made crescent roll dough is so easy that I am now trying out more recipes to make. I came up with these pockets that are similar to some pockets they sell in Venezuela where I was born and raised. Over there they usually are made with lots of ham, but I wanted to experiment using turkey and adding 2 cheeses. These pockets can be made easily for the lunchbox, for breakfast or for an after-school snack!

Ingredients
1 8 oz can of crescent roll dough
2 slices of Muenster cheese (or your favorite cheese)
4 small slices of turkey deli meat
4 teaspoons of cream cheese

Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into 4 squares.
2. On top of each dough square place one slice of turkey meat , half of a slice of cheese broken into small pieces and one teaspoon of cream cheese.
3. Roll each square making sure the turkey and cheese are inside. Press the ends.
4. Place them on an ungreased baking sheet or over parchment paper separated by one inch. Bake on the oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until they are golden.
5. Take out of the oven, let them cool for a couple of minutes and serve. They can also be refrigerated and placed in the lunchbox for the next day!
