Whether you're vacationing in the country, soaking up the shore, or sticking it out in the city, one of these fragrances is guaranteed to be your go-to accessory.

1. Perfectly punchy:
Like a fun cocktail, Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey Summer Eau De Toilette ($72 for 3.3 oz.; Sephora.com) is both fruity and sparkling. The fragrance combines sweet and tart pink grapefruit, passion fruit, and lychee with a hint of yummy vanilla.

2. Sheer and lovely: If Vince Camuto Eau De Parfum Spray, the fashion designer's first scent, could be described as nightclub chic with notes of leather, rum, and feminine rose, then his latest launch, Fiori Vince Camuto Limited Edition Eau de Parfum Spray ($78 for 3.4 oz.; Dillards.com) is more like a garden party. This summery perfume has hints of fresh pink grapefruit and nectarine, soft and delicate iris and freesia, and creamy sandalwood.

3. Summer glam: Jimmy Choo Flash ($98 for 3.3 oz.; Nordstrom.com) is the ideal spritz for a night out on the town. Pink pepper and strawberry smell fresh-especially on a steamy night-while exotic white flowers, including jasmine, lend a more glamorous, dressed-up feel.

4. Sea-inspired: There's a top note in CK One Summer Eau de Toilette ($48 for 3.4 oz.; Macys.com) that's meant to smell like a splashing waterfall. We're not sure how the perfumers did it, but they definitely nailed the cool, refreshing essence of an ocean spray. The clean, unisex fragrance also includes watermelon, citrus notes, cucumber, and water lily.

5. Fruit smoothie: A much fruitier, more vibrant take on the original Daisy, Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh Sunshine Edition Eau de Toilette Spray ($75 for 2.5 oz.; Sephora.com) hits you with a cheery burst of strawberry and apple blossom, and then mellows down with a smooth, subtle floral finish.

6. Country club chic: Lanvin ME ($96 for 2.6 oz.; Nordstrom.com), a first fragrance for the fashion house, evokes a summer day in the country. The juice contains tart blueberry, green-smelling tuberose, with an underlying hint of sophisticated black licorice.

7. Orange crush: It just wouldn't be summer without an energizing citrus scent. Jean Paul Gautier Classique Summer Edition ($69 for 3.4 oz.; Nordstrom.com) packs orange blossom, clementine zest, and Sicilian lemon into one tatted up bottle. And lest you think it's too much zest, the scent is rounded out with soft rose and vanilla.

8. Summer rain: As the name implies, Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia Eau Fraiche ($75 for 100 ml, Lordandtaylor.com) is a fresh take on the original Acqua di Gioia. It reminds us of the invigorating smell after a summer rainstorm-with clean lemon, aquatic jasmine water, and earthy cedar.
