The Beauty Gal Review: Stila Stay All Day 10-in-1 HD Beauty Balm

BB cream (also known as beauty balm or blemish balm) is one of those things that has me wondering, "Why didn't someone think of this sooner?"
For those of you who haven't hopped aboard the BB cream train yet, here's the 411: These multi-tasking miracles first popped up overseas, and promise to moisturize, protect, conceal, treat, and prime the skin. (Among other things. Crazy, right?)
Each formula out there has different benefits and qualities, which has me feeling a little bit like Goldilocks. I keep trying different brands until I find the ones that are just right! Lately, I've been reaching for Stila Stay All Day 10-in-1 HD Beauty Balm ($38). Here's why:
* For me, It eliminates the need for tinted moisturizer and minimizes the amount of concealer I need to use. (Even on the dark spot that appeared when I was pregnant!)
* The formula is more lightweight than other versions that I've tried. I can hardly feel it on my skin, but I can see the results clearly in the mirror. It's perfect for warm weather days…the kind where you don't want layers and layers of makeup on your face!

* It helps even out the redness on my cheeks, creating a blank canvas for my makeup. (And who doesn't love glowy, even-toned skin?)
* It doesn't settle in any lines or creases, even after a day of wear.
* It doesn't cause my sensitive skin to break out. To be honest, I've had very few flare-ups since I started using it. Coincidence? I think not!
* The fresh, airy scent is, for lack of a better word, refreshing!
Heads up: If you need more full coverage, you'll still need to apply your foundation afterward. Also, I have uber dry skin, so I still use my daily face cream beforehand. I've found that it makes for a smoother application, too!
