What Got Me Through the Holidays

These are some of the products that got me through Christmas shopping, dancing all night, sight seeing and long visits with friends during the past two spent celebrating the holidays in New England. I am so glad that I took these along!

Tresor Midnight Rose by LANCOME PARIS Eau de Parfum. It's by LANCOME so I knew that I could not go wrong with this scent. This follows last years Tresor In Love. The purple flacon is so pretty on display in our cozy cottage bedroom. Notes of Raspberry & Rose Absolute are fresh & tangy. The Pink Pepper and Currant bud notes really interested me so I took some time researching them online which was quite a relaxing break after a mega shopping day. Jasmine & peony are also included. The Virginian cedar essence, musk and vanilla are comforting & captivating. I just love this scent. It took me from day to evening, day to day. I love that this scent will always remind me of my days here in New England.

Dr. Rosenberg's Instant Arches. What would I have done without these? I was determined to wear my fabulous heeled boots during this trip so I prepared them before I left Florida with Instant Arches. I simply placed the Instant Arches in the boots and packed them up for my trip. These amazing arch supports really proved themselves. I generally wear heels for a few hours or a night on the town but during this trip, I wore them almost every single day. I forgot I was wearing heels. I really wanted to have a perfect outfit from head to toe every day and I did without having to limit my shoe choices. Thanks Instant Arches!

Be-Classic V neck long sleeve white tee by Stacey Alvarez. I wore it layered, alone, tucked into a high skirt, belted, with a vest, under a blazer, under a fabulous cashmere sweater (a gift from mom) and a bunch of other ways. It's great for long days and quick changes using the T as the foundation for a couple of looks in one day. It makes me feel young and sexy. I just love it and will be expanding my choices with a gray one for sure and of course one in black, a couple of short sleeve scoop neck and a tank or two. That'll take me all the way to my trip back next year!

Christopher Drummond Beauty Shiraz Lip Stain. I applied it in lots of ways like layered on top and/or under lip balm, dabbed on top of one of my favorite lipstick shades, swiped over nude lips, with lined lips, topped off with gloss, applied with my finger or a brush. It comes in a sleek mirrored compact which is easy to take along in my shopper tote, clutch or satchel (yes, I managed the trip with just 3 handbags!) or even in a pocket.

Umberto Beverly Hills Shimmer Shine Spray for my new 'do. I was feeling adventurous and made the decision to have my hair cut into a new short style. Luckily, I like it a lot and the change made me feel more confident and sexy so all is good! I am still working on getting the style down to perfection whether it be messy or neat. One of the hair products that I used before on my long hair works just as well on my short hair. The Shimmer Shine Spray by Umberto tops the new cut off nicely. It adds shine and controls fly-aways. It controls static, thank goodness! Static is the nuisance that I remember all so well now.

Mama Mio Skin Tight Toning Serum & Get Waisted Body Shaper. I am so glad that I took these along. They come in a kit with 4 minute a day exercise instructions from Julie Tupler, New York ab rehab guru. It's easy. There are three steps. Once a day, use Skin Tight Toning Serum on your tummy (you can use it elsewhere on the body also.) Once a day use the Get Waisted Body Shaper formula from below the boobs down to the tummy and around the back. Then perform two exercises for less than 4 minutes. These exercises target the entire core. They work five muscle groups at once. I'll take all the help I can get these days with my battle of the tummy bulge. Thanks Mama Mio.
