Maybelline Baby Lips
Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Moisturizing Balm is advertised as a lip balm with a hydration formula promising to renew your parched lips. The product is a solid (not a gel or a cream) and, like a regular lipstick, twists up and down from the base. It retails for approximately $2.99 and comes in six different colors.
What I found to be the best feature of Baby Lips is the smell, mmmm, it smells so good; like fruit punch or something else sweet and heavenly. And oh, the way it feels when applied; so silky smooth! I have to mention the color because I loved the color I sampled! I sampled Pink Punch and it is the perfect shade of pink for my light completion.
But did it actually transform my chapped dry lips into lush, soft and sexy lips? Negative. Although it is advertised as a lip renewing balm, I have had better results with a moisture treatment, something specifically designed to cure my chapped lips without the frills like color or a pretty scent.
If you're not looking for a corrective treatment I would recommend using Baby Lips because the color definitely lasts for hours without drying (it is composed of a hydration formula, after all - which is evident in its silky-soft feel). Plus it smells fantastic and Pink Punch is a great shade of pink!
Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Moisturizing Balm is a great long-lasting lip color, which smells good, feels good and actually does keep your lips hydrated, but it does not renew dry or chapped lips.
