• "I know you don't have countless hours to make dinner -- I don't either! When I'm short on time but still have to feed my family, I turn on my broiler and let my oven do the rest of the work! Today I'm making a simple broiled salmon with sliced oranges, fennel, and olives all on one sheet pan. This stunning meal comes together in just 20 minutes, which will give you plenty of time to get out of the kitchen and back to your busy life. Enjoy!"

  • How-to article about Survive and thrive office party from our new author, Simone.

Holiday office parties can be dangerous territory in terms of personal embarrassment. A few cocktails lower our usual restraints, and suddenly we're telling off-color jokes to the boss or flirting heavily with that cutie from accounting. Hopefully you're lucky enough to work for a company you love and with people you adore, but if you're worried you can follow these tips to jump any hurdles your sign might face.

    Aries (March 21 - April 19)

You're a go-getter, quick to accomplish things and say exactly what you think. Number one rule at the office party: Don't engage in heated debates, especially with people you dislike. Even an innocent question like "Who's hotter, Ashlee or Jessica?" might spiral out of control after a few glasses of wine. And dress up a little -- looking like you came straight from the gym won't score any points.

    Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

You're not a show-off, but you do have an affinity for nice things. And you like to spread the wealth around by

  • Cozy up with a warm drink based on your sign this winter season.

Cuddling up to a hot winter drink on a cold winter night makes you feel good. And when you feel good, you make others feel good, too! So forget the same ol' same ol' boring drink, and banish the winter doldrums with these hot drinks and cool cocktails for every horoscope sign (while drinking responsibly, of course).

    Aries (March 21 - April 19)

Ask the bartender what's new and you'll be sure to give it a go. Male or female, Aries tends to like manly drinks like Jack Daniels and Coke or scotch on the rocks, which are fine alone or warmed up into a classic Hot Toddy when combined with hot water and honey.

    Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

Just a beer, please! Good European beer marketed in America, like Beck's or Heineken, will satisfy your taste buds - even on cold winter nights. For more refined Taurean moods, indulge in sweet, cozy drinks with a touch of decadent dairy, like a Hot Chocolate with Peppermint Schnapps.

  • Goats have evolved to be able to thrive in frigid temperatures and dangerous environments - and yet we're still shocked (and relieved) to see this herd survive a terrifying avalanche in the French Alps.

A team of skiers captured this video of goats running for their lives as snow tumbled down the mountain. The herd breaks in two, and miraculously, both groups escape the snowslide by the skin of their teeth. Whew!

We're happy to see the goats make it out alive, but even more pleased to hear the concerned skiers' investment in the animals' lives, and celebration when they knew they survived.

Look ahead at what 2014 holds for your sign with our free horoscopes.

Astrology's two largest true planets shape our aspirations and accomplishments. One, visionary Jupiter, begins the year in the sensitive Water sign of Cancer, where ambitions, beliefs and truths come through our emotions.

However, the tender nature of Water signs makes it possible to allow fear to undercut self-confidence and keep us from making important decisions. Considering the possible risks of our actions makes sense, but not when they deter us from seeking solutions and pressing ahead with
