But you can shell out far less to beautify yourself in the comfort of your own space with just a few basic tools and ingredients. Follow this recipe for a frugal, yet fabulous, facial.
Step 1: Steam
Run a few washcloths under hot water until soaked. Wring out, roll up and place in your slow cooker. Add a few drops of essential oils if desired. Cover, set the cooker on high and heat for 20 minutes. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser. After testing the washcloths' temperature, place them on your face, leaving your mouth and nose exposed. Allow to cool for several minutes; remove.
Step 2: Moisturize
Combine 2 tablespoons honey with 2 teaspoons whole-milk yogurt. Warm slightly in the microwave, then stir. Smooth the mixture onto your face and lie down for 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water and say hello
