One of the major frustrations I have shopping are finding clothes that accommodate my chest (or my girls as I affectionately call them!) Between buttons pulling or my chest just spilling out, finding a cute top that's flattering can be more disappointing than fun. Since you don't see a lot of women like us on fashion ads and mannequins, there's a lot of trial and error involved. Hopefully I can save you a lot of the unnecessary rants in the dressing room with my tips and picks for shopping for your "girls"!

The right neckline can make all the difference. I find that V, draped, and even key-hole necklines work great in flattering a big chest. They can minimize their size and help them look proportional to the rest of your body. Stay away from high

Natural hair officially became a big beauty trend in 2012 and it's so exciting to see many of the brands I know and love creating products just for us curly girls. Today I get to tell you all about Cantu Shea Butter's new line of hair products that cater to this trend. Way back when I first started transitioning back to my natural curls, I started using their Leave In Conditioner after every wash. Since then it's been a staple in my hair care routine so I was excited to have the opportunity to try these other products. What they all have in common are natural ingredients like oils, vitamins, and butters and leaving out harmful ones like mineral oils, sulfates, and parabens. I've been using these products for over a month now and my feeling of the collection is half and half. There were products I liked and used every day while there were others that I could do without.

LubtidermWinter can bring its own set of troubles, with cold temps sending our skin into crisis mode. Even though it isn't very winter like down here, having smooth and moisturized skin is very important because we're showing it one way or another all year round. I'm always looking for a skin care product that not only moisturizes, but keeps that moisture all day long whether it's a great body wash or lotion. So our beauty guru assignment this month was on point, reviewing the Daily Moisture Shea and Calming Lavender Jasmine Lotion from Lubriderm. It has great skin ingredients such as Shea Butter and Vitamin B5 to help keep skin moisturized for up to 24 hours. The lavender and jasmine fragrance is there to help you relax.
The lotion smells great! I like the fact that it leaves my skin smelling nice but not so overpowering that I can't wear one of my favorite perfumes afterwards. It also passed the husband test - I noticed he went for the Lubriderm first instead of the normal one weRead More »from Shine Beauty Guru Review: Daily Moisture Lotion from Lubriderm

Little known fact: I have a rocker chick alter ego. She loves playing Rock Band (a master of the guitar and totally kills it on the drums!), and losing herself in the sounds of awesome bands like Paramore, Flyleaf, and most of all Evanescence. I have every single song they've ever done, including their long awaited self titled album. So it was only natural that the first single, What you Want makes this week's Music + Fashion.

As my schedule gets crazier and crazier I find my beauty routine getting a lot simpler these days. When I first started blogging I was wearing a different combo of eyeshadow everyday and now...well...it's more reserved for special occasions. Instead, I've been going for a simple liner, mascara, and a neutral cream shadow. So when Neutrogena reached out and asked me to review their eyeliner, mascara, and lip balm, it couldn't be more timely! The holidays were crazy and the first week of the year was crazier so I hoped these products could help me look put together (even while struggling to get it together!)
Nourishing eyeliner in Cosmic Black (7.49): Olive oil and Rainforest Shea Butter give this eye product it's nourishing qualities while a built in sharpener and smudger allows you to get a precise line for a day look and a great smudge for a smokey eye. This line was really easy to use, gliding on smooth and giving you great color without having to reapply. It helps my eyesRead More »from Beauty Guru post: Three Great Makeup Products from Neutrogena

One thing that I've become since going natural is really paranoid about what goes in my hair. I've spent over a year treating my hair with kid gloves while growing out the relaxer. Now that's it's au naturale, my curls are very picky and, after learning the hard way, there are certain products my hair does not like, such as those that contain too many harsh chemicals, alcohol, sulfates, and petroleum. What it loves is anything that will not only give it the moisture it needs but help keep it there, even in a shampoo. That's the concept behind Infusium 23's Moisture Replenisher line and I had the opportunity to review the shampoo. It isn't the sulfate free type of cleanser I normally use but it promises to nourish my hair while getting clean and free of build up. I also heard great things about their leave in conditioner from the natural hair community so I gave a try and I've been using it for a few weeks now.
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! With one lather, myRead More »from Beauty Guru post: A Review of Moisture Replenisher Shampoo by Infusium 23

I admit, when it comes to clothes I am not an impulse shopper. As a matter of fact, I kind of prefer to shop alone because I can spend hours going from store to store only to come out with a few items. I guess I have this fear of buyers remorse - I don't want to get something only to hate it once I get home. So if I see something and I'm still in love with it 30 minutes later (and the price is right) it goes with me. With this cardigan, however, it was love at first sight.New York and Company ; White Short Sleeve Shirt: Rainbow; Grey Pants: New York and Company; Buckle Pumps: DSW; Sequined Headband: Claire's; Pearl Studded Earrings: Charlotte Russe; Silver Necklace: Brighton's}
I saw it on New York and Company's website the day before Black Friday and I literally had a fashion bloggers OMG moment in front of my laptop. I don't know if it's the colors that got me first or the cool flutter layer action in the front but I had to have it! WhenRead More »from User post: Who is the Love of Your Closet? Here's Mine!

If you were to open up my purse right now, you would find at least a handful of glosses and lip balms. You never know when you need to do a quick touch up of your lip color or your pout decides to act crazy and get all dry and flaky. My lips tend to the latter, especially during the Winter season. It may not get really cold down here in Florida but the air is drier all the same and having a product on hand that makes sure my lips stay moisturized throughout the day is a must!
With that in mind, my Beauty Guru assignment this month was to review Baby Lips from Maybelline New York ($3.99). It's the first in their line of lip treatment products that promise to renew your lips to their natural condition. The lip balm is formulated with Vitamins E and C, natural shea butter, aloe, and camphor to help provide up to 8 hours of hydration. Natural plant extracts are aimed to improve lip coloration and reduce the appearance of fine lines. It also has SPF 20, which a big plus

Even though you might still be on turkey overload from last week, the holidays are around the corner. That means getting your holiday shopping finished (or started, like me! :)) and getting glammed up for the holiday festivities! I like any excuse to get dressed up and since coming out of my strictly tonboy phase in life, I can really appreciate a great dress. You know that one that hugs in just the right places, comes in a super flattering color, and highlights all of your positives. Fashion designers have made headway when it comes to dressing curvy girls, but they have a long way to go. When I did Plus Fashion Designer Spotlights last year, I discovered quite a few brands that cater especially to girls like me and wouldn't it be nice to have them all in one convenient place?
They do and that site is called Madison Plus. This curvy girl online shopping mall has a huge selection of clothes from tops and jeans to blouses and dresses that are perfect for a night out. They alsoRead More »from Beauty Guru Post: Get Dressed Up for the Holidays with Madison Plus
